I have been aware of the power of positive thinking for some time – I once visualized a very specific job and within six months got it – then I wanted to run my own business and got that too…but the stresses from owning a business and mistakes made along the way helped turned my thoughts negative – and then boy, did the bad stuff start hitting the fan. My troubles have been going from bad to worse, with even bankruptcy considered. Then, I watched The Secret, and recognized how far I had fallen from the positive imaging that got me my business in the first place.

Now, I have started positive thinking again in a small way, but again, very specifically…I have a very “big and tall” business partner, who has gone through about five seats and stools at work. I keep getting heavier duty styles, finally getting the solid wood four leg non-swivel type. Well, it just fell to pieces last week. So in frustration, I said, “I need a welded iron stool that cannot break!” Not 24 hours later, I am driving along the road, and there are two bar stools sitting out by some trash cans, marked ‘Free’. Made out of, yep, you guessed it, welded iron. I’m taking them to the store tomorrow. That just blew me away – I mean, that is NOT a coincidence!

Now I have great ideas for my business that are already improving revenues, and I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
